Mycom Europe is a branch of Mayekawa Mfg. Co. Ltd. in Japan.
Established in 1971, Mycom Europe started the sales and service of bare reciprocating and screw compressors for industrial refrigeration and chemical processes. Spare parts were sold from Europe in order to fulfill the increasing need for faster and better service.
In 1985 Mycom Europe started the production of reciprocating and screw compressor units in order to meet the demand for locally made compressor packages. Doing so, a new and wider range of customers could be served. Mycom's compressor units are a standard proven in thousands of applications and fulfilling customer project specific requirements worldwide.

Due to the increasing demand of fully automatic compressor controls and increasing regulating possibilities, Mycom Europe introduced their first microprocessor based control system in 1988, replaced by the second generation in 1997.

In 1995, Mycom Europe started the production of direct expansion chiller units using Ammonia, HC, HFC, and HCFC's as refrigerants*, which opened the door to air-conditioning and process cooling. Mycom's speciality are the direct expansion ammonia chillers which are known for their low refrigerant charge and small footprint.
Thanks to the success of these chillers, the high quality compressor packages and the increasing service, Mycom Europe is now considered as one of the leaders on the European market.
Mycom Europe has a well-equipped workshop for the production of their compressor and chiller packages. Due to this investment, Mycom Europe has a very high production capacity, enabling us to build high quality units with a short delivery time.

In 2002, starting from the Mycom Europe office, the Mayekawa Chemical Process Europe NV was set up to serve customers in the (petro-)chemical industry.

In Mycom production plants in Japan and Mexico, bare refrigeration compressors are built following the highest quality standards and supplied to Mycom Europe and other worldwide subsidiaries in increasing numbers. At these subsidiaries refrigeration packages are built following local standards: CE, UDT, GOST, ASME,...
